We are pleased to welcome Ms. Gayle Zucha as the new Assistant Principal.
Ms. Zucha earned a B.S in Engineering Technology and worked for 19 years in the telecommunications industry as an engineer and engineering manager both in Dallas and Waco. She started her second career in education, teaching first at the McLennan Challenge Academy, then Vanguard College Preparatory Academy and finally coming to St Louis Catholic School in 2001. Ms. Zucha holds teaching certifications inSpecial Education, Middle School Sciences, Physical Science, Secondary Mathematics and Secondary Social Studies, and has taught in all these capacities during her teaching career. In 2013, Ms. Zucha attained her M.A. in Educational Leadership and then completed the requirements for a Principal Certification.
Mrs. Zucha and her husband are members at St. Louis Catholic Church, and although Mrs. Zucha is not from Waco herself, both her husband and daughter are alumni of St. Louis Catholic School and Reicher Catholic High School.
Mrs. Zucha has a strong commitment to Catholic education and a deep love for St. Louis Catholic Church and School particularly. I know she is excited to begin her new journey working with Ms. Lagle, the administration, and the entire school and parish community to continue the work of Catholic formation for our young people.
